Our Story

We care about people. We believe that people are the most important resource any company has. Our people are our sharpest edge, our most valuable asset, the ping to our pong and the step in our groove.

We want that for other small companies too…. Happy employees and happy employers. So that’s why we do what we do.

Our eureka moment happened in 2018, when we realized most companies in our region are still living in the Dark Ages when it comes to HR; boring and time-consuming paperwork, cash wages (in this day and age!), no employee benefits… basically UNhappy employees and frustrated employers.

So, our founders banged their heads together and got cracking on a solution to these pervasive challenges. They figured (and rightly so) that they’d need, not one, but a set of keys to unlock the door blocking the progress of smaller firms.

A complementary set of services, including an HR and payroll platform, payroll cards and financing options, and medical insurance packages like no one had offered them before. And one long but super exciting and action-packed year later, paynas was born!

Big players took notice and we sealed some pretty cracking partnerships with Visa International, Banque Misr, and Libno-suisse. And won some impressive awards too… (check out our media page!).

Our small family quickly grew into one big happy one, with 30 team members working to transform our collective dream into a reality in every small business in the country and beyond.
